Cocksure Weiner MOCKED Larry Craig Sex Scandal

Filed under: Anthony Weiner, Ginger Lee, Politix, Larry Craig

Rep. Anthony Weiner overconfidently sent emails — to his porn star pal Ginger Lee, no less — mocking former Senator Larry Craig‘s bathroom sex scandal … just 2 weeks before Weinergate exploded.

In the May 12 email exchange — obtained by TMZ — Weiner warned Lee a “conservative blogger/troll” is trying to contact his female Twitter followers to do a story about them.

Lee responded by saying, “If you’re sleeping with your Twitter followers, that would make for a way cooler headline than if you were trollin’ for folks in the bathroom at an airport or something of that nature.”

Weiner apparently thought the clear and direct shot at Craig’s 2007 airport bathroom sex scandal was hysterical — he responded with, “yeah, the joke’s on me. some of my twitter followers hang out in airport bathrooms apparently. thats where trolls troll.”

Weiner may not find the reference so funny anymore — but he can’t deny the irony.

The emails also reveal that although Weiner knew someone — the “conservative blogger/troll” — was tracking his social networking … he still sent the undies pic that brought the glass house crashing in on him.

Anti-Pitbull Activist — Jesse James’ Dog Should Die

Filed under: Jesse James, Celebrity Justice, Pets

One of Texas’ most outspoken anti-pitbull advocates is lashing out at Jesse James‘ dog — after it nearly killed another pooch last weekend — telling TMZ, Jesse’s pit “should be put down without exception.”

As we previously reported, one of Jesse’s pitbulls escaped his bike shop in Texas and attacked another dog (below) … which then had to be rushed to a nearby vet for emergency care.

Douglas Wolfe — one of the leading advocates for banning pitbulls across the state of Texas — tells us, “This attack shows that even seemingly responsible owners with the means to manage and care for their animals cannot control this unpredictable and inherently dangerous type of dog.”

Wolfe adds, “Any animal that attacks and kills or injures another animal or a person should be put down without exception and tested for rabies regardless of who or what the owner is.”

“No animal’s life is worth the life of any person.”

Pitbull ownership is a VERY heated issue in Texas right now, where Douglas and other activists have proposed a bill to ban pits throughout the state.

Matt Damon & ‘Office’ Star — SURROUNDED by Guns

Filed under: Matt Damon, John Krasinski, Movies

Matt Damon and “Office” star John Krasinski got in touch with their American roots on Wednesday — hitting up a guitar/gun/grocery-selling gas station in Upstate New York. Seriously, the place exists.

It’s called Dick’s Country Store & Music Oasis in Churubusco, NY — and we’re told, the Hollywood duo stopped in to scope the place out for an upcoming film project.

As far as we know, no guns were purchased. America! F**k yeah!

Allred: Someone’s Threatening A Weiner Woman

Filed under: Anthony Weiner, Ginger Lee, Gloria Allred, Celebrity Justice, Politix

Former porn star Ginger Lee, who received steamy online communications from Congressman Anthony Weiner, says someone is threatening her, and she’s lawyered up.

Gloria Allred is now repping Lee, and tells TMZ, “Ms. Lee has asked me to issue this statement, because an individual has threatened her with a release of another statement which purports to be from her, but which she has not authorized.”

Allred would not say who the individual is or what the nature of the threat is, but says, “Ginger would like it to be known that she has not authorized any person, except me, her attorney, to issue statements on her behalf.”

Allred adds, “Any unauthorized statement may contain inaccuracies and should be viewed with suspicion and not published.”

As if the story couldn’t get any crazier …

Flo Rida’s $1.7 Mil Car — UNCHAINED!

Filed under: Flo Rida, Celebrity Justice, Ride Me

Flo Rida‘s precious $1.7 million Bugatti was thiiiiiis close to being dragged to an impound lot after the rapper’s DUI yesterday –  if not for Flo’s trusty sidekick who came through with a HUGE assist at the last minute.

Tremont Towing in Miami Beach tells us … Flo’s Bugatti had just been loaded on to a flat bed truck headed for the impound lot — when the truck driver got a call from one of the rapper’s friends who had police approval to take possession of the vehicle.

We’re told the friend had to spring for the $115 towing fee — but it’s a small price to pay to make sure the $1.7 million exotic ride doesn’t rot with common whips in a dirty impound lot.

If you can’t find a friend to drive your million dollar car home — you need to find new friends.

Lenny Dykstra — No More Help From Charlie Sheen

Filed under: Lenny Dykstra, Celebrity Justice, TMZ Sports

Financial disaster Lenny Dykstra is on a mission to raise enough cash to post bail — hitting up Charlie Sheen and a bunch of other rich people he knows — but so far, he’s striking out big-time.

Sources connected to the former MLB great tell TMZ … Lenny’s people are scrambling behind the scenes to come up with $50,000 — 10% of the $500,000 bail price — so they can spring Lenny from an L.A. jail  where he’s been stewing since he was booked on 23 felony charges earlier this week.

We’re told Dykstra’s right-hand guy tried to set up a meeting with Lenny’s pal Charlie Sheen — who helped bail Lenny out of jail earlier this year — but Charlie’s assistant turned him away.

Lenny’s people then approached two wealthy members of the Philadelphia sports community — but they weren’t willing to fork over any cash either.

Since they can’t score a check, Lenny’s people are now toying with the idea of throwing a celebrity fundraiser — in the hopes some of Dykstra’s friends like Darryl Strawberry , Dwight Gooden and Sheen will donate their time for the cause.

Meantime, Dykstra is scheduled to go in front of a judge today — where he’s expected to ask for a reduction in bail … but with Lenny’s history of legal trouble, we’re guessing it ain’t gonna happen.

‘Basketball Wives’ PUNCH IT OUT at Italian Nightclub

Filed under: Tami Roman, Meeka Claxton, Basketball Wives, Celebrity Feuds, Reality TV, VH1, Fights

There is some bad blood on VH1‘s “Basketball Wives” — and TMZ has learned, two of the cast members decided to settle their differences with a nightclub SLUGFEST in Rome, Italy.

Sources close to the show tell us Meeka Claxton (left) and Tami Roman (right) have been on frigid terms for months now — all because Tami has repeatedly accused Meeka of creating animosity between the girls on the show.

Meeka denies the accusations … but during a recent taping at some nightclub in Rome — where the girls filmed several scenes abroad — Tami decided to confront her … fists flying.

We’re told a full on brawl broke out … and ended with Tami PUNCHING Meeka right in the face.

No one was seriously injured in the fight — but the two were promptly escorted out of the club by security. Clearly, Italy is the hot place for reality stars to duke it out.
