Lady Gaga Living on the Radio

That lamp-shade wearing diva is always shocking us, isn’t she? From a pair of glasses made of cigarettes to that classy tea cup with lipstick stains on them, Goo Goo aims to surprise. And last night in St. Paul, Minnesota, Gaga debuted a new song that had her little monsters peeing their leotards.

The Lady Gaga Living On the Radio song isn’t exactly unique. It is very simple actually and the lyrics seem to describe what life is like for the overnight-Perez Hilton-pimp-story.

The lyrics go a little bit like this, “When there’s nowhere to go, and all your friends are gone/And you’ve only got your daddy to call/You can be alright honey, cos your songs are on the radio.”

And yes she even kisses her little monsters on the heads singing, “Baby, you’ve got a friend, so many little monsters, yeah.”

It’s pretty damn corny, but somehow brilliant? Then again, I don’t claim to be a big Gaga fan. Check out the Lady Gaga Living On The Radio track below.

Spacehog, tour dates

Get ready, because Spacehog has announced a few select tour dates. And if you just so happen to live in a city or locale they’re visiting- you should check ‘em out.  The band is heavily influenced by  David Bowie, Queen, and  T.Rex and is known for their legendary  concerts in the East Village and creating their own  genre of sound by colliding their influences with a wall of distorted guitars daring vocals.

Just in case you’re not familiar with Spacehog, the English rock band is made up of brothers Royston Langdon (Vocals and Bass Guitar) and Anthony Langdon (Guitar and Vocals) as well as Jonny Cragg,  (Drums) and Richard Steel (Lead Guitar). Royston is ex-hubby to Liv Tyler- ya know, so ya know.

The band’s debut album, Resident Alien, went gold on the Billboard charts, selling a million copies and spawned the hit single and video “In the  Meantime” as well as the single “Cruel To Be Kind”.

It’s been 9 years since Spacehog have come together. The group has begun working  on their yet to be titled fourth album with Bryce Goggin. Their  evolved sound can only be described as epic. Fans can now listen to their first record track since 2001 entitled “Sunset  Blvd.”

Jared Evan, video premiere

I know, I’ve been yapping about it. And ’tis finally here- Jared Evan has premiered the video to his new single ‘In Love With You.’ The explosive track that closed last week’s episode of  Entourage will be on Jared’s Interscope Records debut, ‘Fourth Chapter.’   The first single, ‘In Love With You’ embodies the  intoxicating rock/rap/pop blend  heard on the album which is executive produced by Polow Da Don and Jimmy Douglass.

“To me it carries an angry tone,  like I’m mad at you right now, but I still love you,” says Jared of the single. And his passion for rock music definitely shines through on the track.

But that’s to be expected, because Jared has always had a passion for music- even at the age of five. Jared insists, “This [music] is something I always expected to do.”There’s never been a time when I didn’t want to make music. When I was five years old, I started to bang on my parents’ furniture with Nok-Hockey sticks. Eventually they decided to buy me a drum set and save what was left of the furniture.”

So, Jared spared the chair legs and focused his energy on mimicking his father’s idols- John Bonham and Keith Moon- and they became his own idols.

Paris Hilton jail bound?

lock her up…take a key and lock her up…my fair lady…oh hi! It’s a fabulous and fierce day in gossip land today. In Paris’ world? Not so much.

Let’s just put it this way…Paris is probably hoping that she got busted in any city other than Vegas. The DA handling her case is a hard ass. And just like OJ Simpson who was busted in Vegas and now jailed, Paris could very well land herself behind bars…again.

RadarOnline.com is reporting that District Attorney David Roger is highly unlikely to offer Paris a plea bargain deal on her cocaine possession charge.

A source told the site, “Roger won’t tolerate celebrities coming to Las Vegas and thinking they can get away with illegal behavior. It’s going to be extremely difficult for Paris to get out of these charges, even with the brilliant legal skills of her lawyer, David Chesnoff. This is a high profile case, right before a very important election, and it’s very likely that there will be no plea bargaining down of these charges.”

Even though Paris is probably shaking in her boots right now, she is hoping that her its-not-my-purse defense will save her from getting jailed.

A friend said, “Paris has been advised to lay low. Paris is 100 per cent adamant that the cocaine found in the purse, wasn’t hers. She says she borrowed the handbag from a girlfriend because the handbag she was going to use for the night didn’t match her outfit.”

For all of you non-Paris fans, a conviction could mean the heiress will be locked up behind bars anywhere from one to four years! Ouch. Let’s see how this plays out!

Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper sign on for buddy cop movie.

“It” boys Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper are teaming up on a new buddy cop movie that has yet to be titled. The leading men are joining forces as cops who need help from their retired police office fathers to solve a crime. It’s a movie that’s being described as an edgy, funny and R-rated cop story. No word on who might be playing the dads to these Hollywood stars. Shooting in San Francisco should start early in 2011, with an eye on opening in late 2011 or early 2010.

Both actors have been moving towards the action side of Hollywood lately, with Cooper recently starring in The A-Team and Reynolds playing the title role in next Summer’s superhero picture Green Lantern. Reynolds also has Deadpool on his busy schedule. Deadpool will be a spin-off from the Wolverine movie. Cooper is currently preparing to start work on the sequel to the smash hit The Hangover, which opens up in theaters May 26, 2011.

Whatever the name of this buddy cop movie, it kind of has a Lethal Weapon feel to it. Which makes me think if somewhere Danny Glover is saying, “I’m getting too old for this shit.” And somewhere Mel Gibson is saying, “Aaaaarrrrrggggghhh…I called. Whore.”  Who needs Lethal Weapon 5?

Dave Matthews celebrates after concert

Before John Mayer was around to make strange faces while jamming out on the guitar, there was Dave Matthews. And DMB has been riding high the last decade as the top concert ticket selling rock group of the 21st century. That’s serious business. And serious business requires celebratory activities.

Yup, Dave Matthews was spotted at the Sunset Marquee’s Bar 1200 in West Hollywood sipping what seems to be his new favorite tequila- Raizul Anejo- during his stay in Los Angeles this week.

Of course, he didn’t par-tay alone. Kings of Leon’s lead singer Caleb and Caleb’s girlfriend (and model because that’s how Caleb rolls) Lily Aldrich joined Dave.

Dave had a show at the Hollywood Bowl- a concert that Miley Cyrus’ ex Liam Hemsworth and Glee’s Corey Monteith attended. Looks like it was a pretty long night because Dave returned after the concert for more Raizul Anejo in the wee hours of the morning.
